Description
With a conceptual design led by New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio, the Stone Island x Tokyo Design Studio FuelCell RC Elite V2 embodies the legacy of design-led innovation and gimmick-free quality that links both brands. The Stone Island x TDS FuelCell RC Elite’s technological features, propulsive FuelCell cushioning, a full-length, energy-returning carbon fiber plate, and breathable knit upper, are paired with jagged edged, synthetic overlays, inspired by the 574. The combination of heritage and futuristic elements give the impression that the contemporary shape of the FuelCell RC Elite v2 is emerging from a classic predecessor. The second iteration of the silhouette’s high-performance conceptualism features two colorways that pair bold color pops with a contrasting, traditional palette. One option features an acidic green knit upper, overlaid with burgundy sourced from a classic 574 colorway. The other opts for a vivid red knit upper, overlaid with iconic, New Balance grey.
