Paying tribute to the importance of grey throughout New Balance’s history, The WTAPS & New Balance MADE in USA 990v6 explores the depth and nuances of the color with a subtle, sophisticated variation on the model’s debut colorway. Using a tonal palette, the shoe’s tech features are accented through colorblocking. A pale shade of grey frames the FuelCell cushioning. Darker shades highlight the ENCAP and Ndurance features, and mid-range greys appear on the pigskin and synthetic overlays that flow from heel to toe.
