Originally released in 2001, the 991 was the new millennium’s first update to the 99X series, picking up where 1998’s 990v2 left off. Featuring a streamlined toebox shape, and a more daring use of overlay cutout sections, the 991 opted for a high-performance modern look. In keeping with the era’s preference for visible technology, the 991 also added clear window sections to the midsole's sidewall pods. The JJJJound MADE in UK 991v1 offers a refined, timeless, and versatile take on this tech-driven, ABZORB cushioned silhouette, as a classic mesh upper is overlaid with luxurious suede and outfitted with an earth toned palette.
